As the company director of Academy Design, I just wanted to write and thank the guys who are 'Platinum Abba' for the superb night they gave our company this Christmas. Can't remember when I saw so many people singing and dancing in mutual glee alongside and in admiration for a band.

OK, so everyone loves Abba, but having seen a couple of (very mediocre) tribute bands - and even 'Bjorn Again', I can honestly say that 'Platinum Abba' were truly fantastic and unrivalled in their crowd-pleasing, stonkingly-good, live performance.

There wasn't a toe that wasn't tapping or a face that wasn't smiling during both their brilliant sets.... everyone can sing-along with all the words and there isn't a song on their set list that doesn't rally-up cheers of delight for yet another tremendous Abba hit.

I can't recommend 'Platinum Abba' highly enough: one of the best nights out I've had in a long time, and the feedback from the young, the not so young, the musically critical and the just downright party animal in our company was that this lot are the tops - a sure fire way to give the whole company a tonic that we can't wait for an excuse to repeat!"

Nonetheless, 400 Petersfield residents took them at their word and headed to the Festival Hall on Thursday to check out Platinum ABBA. ..... and they sound fantastic.

The opening few bars of Take A Chance On Me were enough to encourage the first fans out of their seats and up on to their feet and the tone was set for the rest of the evening.…. The grand old Festival Hall cannot be used to such scenes.... dancing in the aisles.

The authenticity of the sounds was matched by the costumes. Bjorn, Benny, Frida and Agnetha certainly looked striking in their tight white suits...

The string of hits kept the tempo high with every number a sing-alonger..…

....the show proved a real hit, engaging and entertaining the audience in equal measure."
